But you got hit by a pebble on the head, and now you can hear the story's narrator giving you advice?!

A sweet and comedic love story where you romance Julian, the most popular guy around, while also dealing with an opinionated and tsundere Narrator trying to give you advice on how to reach your happy ending.
Will you succeed, comically mess up, or... fall for someone who wasn't supposed to be a character in the first place?

I just realized that the background were likely made on paper, and I seriously had to get up from my lying position to check if my eyes were seeing things correctly. When my brain finally processed it, I was in awe. The sprite was super adorbs, story was fun, the banter and conversation were well made, and the capybaras stacking were so cute, despite being vision-restricting (heh). I just wanna comment on the background again, because it was my first time encountering an actual watercolor art scanned and applied in a VN.

THIS IS AMAZING!! Thee concept itself was interesting and immediately caught my eye. Video game narrators interacting with the player was a trope I always loved, with younger me even searching up "narrator x reader" so i guess this is a dream come true for me!! With that said, Julian is quite adorable and after finishing his routes/his good ending, it was so hard to not replay his route when trying to romance the Narrator. Ah I love a man who cries. His backstory is genuinely interesting, and the way he builds up his mask/perfection, very relatable. Though, getting his good and neutral endings were a bit hard without the walkthrough. I guess me and his type are very different lolz. In comparison, getting the Narrator's good ending was pretty easy. I feel like the Narrator really knows and loves the MC. Also, his corporeal form is so my type!!! I liked the banter and the arguments and the wholesome moments. Also the MC and their personality/tidbits about them were really interesting, like how they spent a lot of their time in the Atelier painting. MC felt like an introvert frfr. They're very cute and I get why Narrator likes them. Even so, there's a lot of different choices, which help the MC's backstory not overpower the player's agenda. So, the game balances very well the being-ness of the MC. MC isn't just a blank slate, but they don't feel like an OC either. It makes them a really cool being for the player to insert themselves into, making the experience pretty fun. Anyways, this is a really fun game. Also I love the watercolor aesthetic of the backgrounds and the characters frfr.

I actually cried getting the true ending because Narrator!!!!!
I was bored and decided to play this game on a whim. Julian’s route pleasantly surprised me, it touched on some deep themes in its own way that I found relatable. So, out of curiosity, I tried the narrator’s route too. I genuinely laughed when he roasted Julian, and the ending even made me tear up a little. I didn’t expect to feel all these emotions on a boring afternoon. You did an excellent job with the writing, the art, and the little “surprise” at the end, especially in such a short amount of time!
My doggo felt that at a very sweet, emotional Julian moment was the opportune time to fart </3

it's a short game, but there are many paths being offered and i have so much fun exploring all of them! i looked into your profile and i recognized some of your games because i have played them before, then i was like 'Ah, that makes sense!' You never disappoint.
there isn't a lot of dating sims where you can date the narrator. if there is, they're probably not treated too seriously. this isn't one of those games. you did a great job in writing narrator's character that i became invested and grew a soft spot for him, and eventually LOVE him.
julian is also great as his own character.

i was hoping that we get to see narrator pick a name that he feel fond of in the end, since he became his own person. but i still enjoyed it nonetheless.
ducks were my favorite animals and i got sad when the narrator showed disdain for them. but then i notice the resemblances of the animals with the characters then i find it hilarious. anyway good game 10/10 i hope many people find this game

The concept of romancing the Narrator was incredibly intriguing to me. I thought I wouldn’t like Julian but he grew on me too! It was really cool to redo the scenes in a New Game+ playthrough. The music, especially during the angsty moments, made me feel emotional.
One of my favourite otome games from the Amare Games Jam! I cannot believe there is a warning in the beginning about it being unpolished. I didn’t feel that at all! Huge kudos to Team Peebles for making such an amazing product in the short timeframe!

I have to admit, at the start, I was very reluctant with Julian and kept hoping that I could bad ending myself to the Narrator's route. (It took me a while to get there!) So happy when I managed it though, I adored his story, and I think him and the MC are a perfect couple!

Like I was going literally insane when he start being ansgty about us not being together, to hold hands, that he couldnt reach us and i was like THAT´S IT I GOT THE BAD ENDING, my heart literally crack!
And the moment just before narrating the scene at the park like nothing, MY SOUL LEFT MY BODY, i though he forgot about us, or somebody change the narrator, omg what a relief when i saw my sheyla just in front of meeee
I love this game, narrators route and i wasn´t expecting to actually see a personification of narrator in the game! I love my husband
By far the most creative visual novel I've ever played!! Although I had to use the gameplay guidelines to get the true ending... I enjoyed every second of the playthrough. Julian was so sweet as well, but I adored the MC and the narrator's chemistry more! I love these plottwists in cliche visual novels so this immediately caught my eye when I first read it. Everyone in Team Peebles did such a great job</3 (btw I'm inlove with the narrators design and the capybaras)

I love Julian and his vulnerability, but oh man the Narrator had me tearing up. ALSO once I got his sprite it was fantastic. This was such a cute concept and an interesting story. Loved it.

This is so good plzzzzzzz, I love the story, the setting, and the interactions between characters, it def goes more in-depth into the topic of love and existence than I'd expect. Btw the two animals chosen for Julian and Narrator are so cute lollll (also, them making their way into the story is funny).

Let's just take a moment to appreciate Julian>< He is genuinely a warm and caring person, just hidden under too many layers that even himself is afraid to cross. Even in the Narrator's route, he is so nice and understanding, never pushing me to do something or ask for reasons. He is so cute with the spicy food, the duck plushie, and is so easy to tease(yessss I love making him blush). I really resonate with him on his thing of wanting to escape from all these expectations, noises, and other people's gazes; and this is even more understandable considering how popular he is in this fictional world. Oh, we love this man's tears. I'm really absorbed by the end, and I feel so happy for him. (Plus, he's hot!! Even my friend beside me saw his figure and commented the same lollll.)
Narrator is super duper extra cute. He could be grumpy and such a petty child at times, but his intentions make sense and I could never be mad at this man. First off, him suffering after the rides in that park is just so funny and cute. Then, him wanting to try the spicy food is just so funny and cute. Also, him adding all that capybara into the storyline is a bonus. I never thought of the Narrator as an invisible being, he is so person-like in his actions and speech that I genuinely feel that he is someone. Then it's the best part, the last day and the confession. I am so happy that he confessed all these and that he finally become a human that is capable of experiencing different kinds of things. (haha this man is also hot with that pair of glasses.)
I'll take a moment to appreciate the protagonist. They are just such a nice person, responsible and reasonable, and just genuinely kind. I really love how they speak up for Julian in the narrator's route, and this is what I thought would be the most reasonable thing to do. I love them and their values align with so much!!!
Overall, a fun and nice game to play. Ty so much for producing this<3<3
