I never could have expected the gang to be so mean, talking behind Syun's back. Honestly, it changes my entire view of their characters, ecspecailly Lion & Kie. It makes no sense that they would make a GC dissing on Syun, just to let of steam. I would think Lion would leave the chat and maybe just avoid thinking about it all together, and Kie would fight back because Syun's works influenced him so much. I am surpised too because of "one last goodbye", it reinforced their good nature even more so how could they T-T. It does defineitly make me suspect of Luz though, because she could very well be lying to manupiulate Syun and make him trust only her. I mean...the foreshadowing is right there...(the movie they watched). I want to trust Luz so bad, but i can't. oh, and at least i know the potental reason for Lion's "death". Anyways, This game is sooooo good, thank you for releasing a demo :D. I can't wait till' i save up enough to donate to you and also i can't wait for the full game! EEEHHHHHHHHHH

I wonder how the True Route will work. Whether it'll be separate and accessed through the "choose who to help screen", or if it'll pick up after the cliffhanger and work as a sort of sequel to every worldstate...
Also, I've found what I think is a continuity error--Kaoru is referred to as Kie before Syun knows they're the same person. Specifically this happens multiple times in the basketball scene.
I've also seen some text repeat in ways I believe to be unintentional; I've received some text messages several times and a few lines repeat during Syun's breakdown where he falls sick.
Moreover, I believe that when Syun explains the livestream thingy, he mentions there being a 2012-like panic in 2033. Maybe this is a reference I'm not getting (or I might be misremembering but I don't think I am , but I don't think that this is possible. Syun is 25 is the game's present, and his blog posts happen in the 2010s (201X). I believe it was mentioned that he was 14 at the time. This would place the game in 2030 at the latest.
Not trying to nitpick, just thought it may be helpful to report tiny issues like this that may slip under the radar! The game is lovely <3

My crack theory that I'm actually kinda confident in even though it's a crack theory is that Luz's real identity is (spoilers?) IzmdEqnlCnvmLdlnqxKzmd (I caesar cipher shifted it one letter so I don't ruin it for someone who might read the comments in case im somehow right 😭) (im willing to delete this comment if this is somehow a spoiler)

Gosh, this is one of the most lovingly assembled games that I've played in a long time - there's so much detail and thought put into everything, from the character designs to the cinematic camerawork to the additional gameplay elements (the paranoia bubbles, the character affection markers, the text popups) - there's a lot of passion here, and it really shows. In particular, I really loved the dynamic camerawork (especially the closeups and angles) and the usage of different artstyles for different parts of the story to reflect the tone - it was so dynamic and impactful.
===SPOILERS===
All of the characters are well-rounded and distinct, and their personalities play off each other well. Lion and Rikka are total sweethearts, and Kie is eccentrically charming(???) I'll say that I was the most intrigued by Luz, simply because I didn't know what to make of her. She seems like a cool girl, and she and Syun connect on some level, but she also sets off my alarm bells somehow and gives me such bad vibes 😂
Syun is a painfully relatable protagonist, to the point that he's almost frustrating because of his relatability (especially when he's pushing away people who are only good to him) 😂 The paranoia bubbles do a really good job of highlighting how his anxieties and past experiences color his perceptions, and I also really like the usage of Komi, representing how he wants to connect and open up (the scene where Komi's dialogue becomes something that he actually says is really sweet!) The "duality" system is also really clever, and I appreciated how initially it's portrayed as something "simple" but becomes much more nuanced as the story goes on (where sometimes Syun isn't always wrong and Komi isn't always right, or sometimes Komi's POV appeals to some characters and not others).
The cliffhanger is CRAZY, of course, and I have no idea how the story will continue or HOW that ended up happening...
(I think that this is probably the first time I've seen Lux-Pain mentioned by someone other than myself LOL I absolutely loved that game, and I really see the inspiration here!)

Syun can really be frustrating, right? you can’t help but feel bad for the guy while also wanting to grab him by the shoulders and shake him until he understands he is loved 😭
ALSO IM SO GLAD SOMEONE NOTICED THAT LINE… little by little we’ll see Syun doing more Komi-isms and showing off that part of himself to his new friends!
You also noticed how duality really works which I’m really glad about - Komi’s positivity isn’t always the best choice. I took a lot of care to keep the ‘correct choices’ balanced in the full game as I don’t want to give off the feeling that Syun’s way of thinking is always incorrect 🙂↕️

I just finished Lion's route and I was looking at the credits and gonna go portuguese for a bit for its easier to describe things in my native language MEU DEUS VC É BR :0???? MEU DEUS QUE MASSA!!! nossa eu amei muito esse jogo!! Eu tenho fobia social, e nossa eu me vi muitos nos dialogos do Syon, fiquei prestés a chorar em muitos momentos do jogo, principalmente no final. vou montar um daqueles quadros com fio vermelho pra quando o jogo sair meu deus o que ocorreu, eu real não tava esperando aquele fina eu tô pulando pelas paredes meu deus. Anyways!! The art is so pretty, the songs all enhance the vibe so well! I get always so nervous in a paranoia bubble appears and the sounds add so much to it, and the story!! the characters!!! they are so good i shall never be the same again

Hi! Kie’s route is the True Route, a.k.a the final route that closes out the game and gives everyone closure, unlocked after finishing all routes in full. Since the full game is still in development and needs funding support, it would be impossible to have it in the demo, as it would include major spoilers to the rest of the game and wouldn’t make much sense to y’all. It would be like someone starting a book from the last chapter.
I’m working on an extended free update to the demo that will add tons of new scenes with Kie and give lots of hints on what his route will be like =)

I didn't even read Lion's full bio for some silly reason, and the further on I got I was like, this boi is autistic, just like me! Then I read the full bio was like, ohhhhh, anyways, I love him, he is bean, and Syun is also a bean, and I relate to them both- (Just finished the demo, please don't hurt Lion lol! He is such a bean! And one of the first not just autistic code but actually autistic character I can fully relate too! (Just joking of course, do what ever you want with your game!)

Anyways I think one of the things I like the most in visual novels in general is the fact that time does not pass while I make aa decision because I am using that time to overthink it to hell. In this game, the duality ones even more than just any regular choice moment. A good example is that on moment in Lion's route where you have to choose wether or not Syun tells him he's acting cute and I had a 20 minute panic before answering. 5 minutes of trying to figure it out myself, 10 minutes of explaining the situation to a guy friend of mine and 5 minutes of us trying to reach a consensus on what to do. I ended up not saying anything then replaying that part and saying it after finishing the route. Turns out the best option was voicing those thoughts lol. Honestly time pausing whenever I have conflicting opinions so I can figure them out is an ability I wish I had, even if I think it would make me live 10 times longer, that is if I don't spend the equivalent to an entire week caught on a single moment every month (would probably happen)
Btw sorry I ended up rambling I usually try to control myself andit doesn't always really end well and I end up yapping too much, my apologies
I just finished playing Lion's route and I got to say, I absolutely loved the demo! The whole time I felt like Syun was so relatable in his paranoia and his fears for writing. I even found myself crying because I legit wanted to give him a hug and reassure him. And that cliffhanger?! I cant wait to see where this goes! Definitely playing the full game when it comes out!

I reeeeeaaally wish I could support this in any way but I don't have the financial freedom to do that as someone who is not yet of age and my parents would never let me TT
Anyways, as someone who is kinda naturally paranoid as well (I say kinda because idk if you need a diagnosis for this and I am genuinely afraid of being sure of anything because holy crap what if I don't have it and I end up just being one of those people that give a bad name to a community because they're faking it and I am so sorry for this unrelated rant I just always feel the need to make that clear lol) the bubbles were a deeply relatable experience for me and I did spiral over them juuust a bit, they really just fueled my brain (I don't mean this in a bad way btw, I was aware the game wasn't really real so it was kinda like fake anxiety? idk how to put it but it wasn't serious). All that just to say it felt like a great way to represesnt that ad I am so so sorry for rambling so much
I’m a paranoid person too (used to be as bad as Syun) and making the paranoia system was like… therapeutic for me? So knowing that someone else understands and relates to the way I presented it makes me feel a bit less alone. It’s tough, but I believe we’ll be okay =)

Hi! Kie’s route is the True Route, a.k.a the final route that closes out the game and gives everyone closure, unlocked after finishing all routes in full. Since the full game is still in development and needs funding support, it would be impossible to have it in the demo, as it would include major spoilers to the rest of the game and wouldn’t make much sense to y’all. It would be like someone starting a book from the last chapter.
I’m working on an extended free update to the demo that will add tons of new scenes with Kie and give lots of hints on what his route will be like =)

does anyone know if there's any "not interested" option on itch.io? it's cool that there's a game about someone who thought they were a gay man realizing they're a trans lesbian, that's cool or whatever, i also have 0 interest in it. tried rating the game 1 star, left a negative review that got deleted, everything, but it keeps showing up on my recommended.

I didn't even read Lion's full bio for some silly reason, and the further on I got I was like, this boi is autistic, just like me! Then I read the full bio was like, ohhhhh, anyways, I love him, he is bean, and Syun is also a bean, and I relate to them both- (Just finished the demo, please don't hurt Lion lol! He is such a bean! And one of the first not just autistic code but actually autistic character I can fully relate too! (Just joking of course, do what ever you want with your game!)

Anyways I think one of the things I like the most in visual novels in general is the fact that time does not pass while I make aa decision because I am using that time to overthink it to hell. In this game, the duality ones even more than just any regular choice moment. A good example is that on moment in Lion's route where you have to choose wether or not Syun tells him he's acting cute and I had a 20 minute panic before answering. 5 minutes of trying to figure it out myself, 10 minutes of explaining the situation to a guy friend of mine and 5 minutes of us trying to reach a consensus on what to do. I ended up not saying anything then replaying that part and saying it after finishing the route. Turns out the best option was voicing those thoughts lol. Honestly time pausing whenever I have conflicting opinions so I can figure them out is an ability I wish I had, even if I think it would make me live 10 times longer, that is if I don't spend the equivalent to an entire week caught on a single moment every month (would probably happen)
Btw sorry I ended up rambling I usually try to control myself andit doesn't always really end well and I end up yapping too much, my apologies

I just finished playing Lion's route and I got to say, I absolutely loved the demo! The whole time I felt like Syun was so relatable in his paranoia and his fears for writing. I even found myself crying because I legit wanted to give him a hug and reassure him. And that cliffhanger?! I cant wait to see where this goes! Definitely playing the full game when it comes out!

I reeeeeaaally wish I could support this in any way but I don't have the financial freedom to do that as someone who is not yet of age and my parents would never let me TT
Anyways, as someone who is kinda naturally paranoid as well (I say kinda because idk if you need a diagnosis for this and I am genuinely afraid of being sure of anything because holy crap what if I don't have it and I end up just being one of those people that give a bad name to a community because they're faking it and I am so sorry for this unrelated rant I just always feel the need to make that clear lol) the bubbles were a deeply relatable experience for me and I did spiral over them juuust a bit, they really just fueled my brain (I don't mean this in a bad way btw, I was aware the game wasn't really real so it was kinda like fake anxiety? idk how to put it but it wasn't serious). All that just to say it felt like a great way to represesnt that ad I am so so sorry for rambling so much

I’m a paranoid person too (used to be as bad as Syun) and making the paranoia system was like… therapeutic for me? So knowing that someone else understands and relates to the way I presented it makes me feel a bit less alone. It’s tough, but I believe we’ll be okay =)

I get that the paranoid system was also almost therapeutic in a way for me. Seeing someone else, even if just a fictional character, struggles with the same thoughts. Thankfully for me it's been getting better recently as well so I think we'll be okay too :)
