Thank you so much for the 100 downloads!! I was seriously not expecting ‘Someone to Hold Me’ to do this well so quick. Even MyGF took some time to reach the one hundred mark.

For those who are new here, I try to write always devlogs and make art for big milestones like this one. But I had some trouble for this piece!

The characters of StHM are all faceless at first and their identities are a part of the surprise for when the player reaches the ending, so I spent some time sketching and thinking of what to do, without giving away any spoilers.

For previous pieces, I would just draw a character or two, so I had to get creative. In the end, I settled on using the asexual flag’s colors to color the text and the outlines, both to make it pop out and to celebrate the flag.

To be honest, I was not expecting StHM to do well at all, or even for people to relate so much to it. I was afraid that my writing was a bit too honest this time, or that my feelings and experiences wouldn’t be conveyed the way I meant them to. I’ve written about my impostor syndrome before, and it very much was not kind to me while I developed this game.

I’m immensely thankful that I was proven wrong. Thank you so much. Onwards to more milestones!!
