New Build - Critical Bugfixes & Changes


I've uploaded a new build today (07/17/2020), to fix a weird bug that would lock the player in an event. Unfortunately you can't progress the plot in previous builds, so you'll have to download the game again.

Here's what changed:

  • Removed unused music and graphics to make the filesize smaller
  • Fixed a bug that would trigger a loop of a certain event after you came back from Joe's if you triggered some previous events in a specific way (that place has got to be cursed...)
  • Rewrote a few lines of dialogue... some old writing that I don't like anymore got removed and replaced. I also considerably softened some waaaay too dramatic lines. 
  • Fixed some minor typos, most notably the ones at Joe's (darn!)
  • Attempted to yet again fix the "floating portrait box" bug.
  • Fixed a non-game breaking bug that would make a certain character disappear and reappear if the player triggered an event out of order.
  • Added some more hints to help out the player so they don't get lost in the early game.

Thanks for reading. I apologize for any trouble you had while playing. Hopefully this'll be the last bugfix.

I've published part 2 (It's very choppy) and I've found two major bugs (I think its major). First is where you can walk outside of the map into the void. Second is where you'll be able to go to the Dream World as Iris.

I'm gonna see if I can replicate the Iris bug. Hopefully it's an easy fix...
