BETA 1.2.5: Accessibility option to invert the GUI colors
Hi! I tried to make an accessibility option that inverts the game’s colors, for those who have a hard time reading white text on black backgrounds.
This feature only inverts the black and white images, so the symbolism of the red and blue isn’t removed.
Thank you to the folks from the DevTalk server for helping me figure this out with minimal manual editing! \o/
Since it’s my first time adding such a feature, I’ve uploaded a ‘beta’ branch, 1.2.5, that adds this option. Just in case I missed anything.
Would appreciate any help testing it out! If it plays well, I can look into adding it to Someone to Hold Me as well.
The DLC is currently not compatible with this mode, as it would need some extra work - if I get feedback that this option works okay, I’ll work on updating the DLC as well.
This was a fun puzzle to solve (for the blue, red and purple to stay intact, I had to create versions with the images with the colors inverted, and had to modify the ‘say’ screen a little), and I hope it helps out those who need it!
